It’s a little odd to style a fanny pack. Should you wear it across your body, around your hips, and with what staple pieces? While I’ve been spending a little more time styling this piece, I found a few ways that work for me ~ sparking my inspiration to create a dedicated post on ways to style a fanny pack.
To be fair, this is my personal outfit favorites. And, I always find myself styling this piece with casual and comfy wear. My common muse for picking outfits that correspond with this bag is Molly–Mae (a famous influencer and post-Love Island character).
Throughout the post, I will be sharing a few outfits I’ve personally created, and a few that I have yet to style. I’ve only had this bag for a short amount of time, so there’s a lot of room for improvement!
1. Classy + all black
If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know this is my absolute favorite — any all-black + sleek look. This is my go-to look for a fashionable, cute, AND comfy weekend outfit. And, for those of you that also like to self-tan on the weekends, similar to me, this all-black style is perfect for avoiding tanner transfer.
I style this with an old oversized black jacket from Forever21 (similar one here), faux leather leggings, a black bralette, and white sneaks.
2. Comfy, but make it cute
Ever since working from home, I’ve fully updated my closet to fit a comfy, but cute style. It’s filled with sweatshirts, sweatpants, and soft bras that are stylisly comfy. My college self would have died if I was caught outside in sweatpants ~ she’d be shaking.
This white hoodie I got at a random shop in Seattle (linked a similar one here). But for the black sweatpants, you can pretty much find these anywhere. I also matched it with the same bralette set as above, Adidas slides, and simple gold jewelry.
3. High-class soccer mom
Another comfy, but cute, outfit that could easily be worn on a walk with the girlies followed by a coffee shop run. Recently, I ordered a full order of inexpensive clothes from Shein. (Always a little risky, but worth it!) In that order, I found one of my new favorite tops ~ this long-sleeve tee. It’s super comfortable and great to wear on its own, or over other pieces.
Along with that, I’m wearing my classic Amazon leggings, white sneakers from Shein, and my Amazon sassy sunglasses. Overall, this look is one of the least expensive looks to recreate (minus the jewelry staples).
4. Reg jeans and a tee
I found this piece off of The Sweetest Thing Blog’s Pinterest page. And, this has to be one of my favorite comfy and classy outfits. You could wear this to a nice coffee date, running errands, or simply for a casual day in the office.
To make this look a little more my style, I included a few swaps/options for this look. Of course, you’d like some snatched straight-leg jeans, a basic tee, white sneakers, and jewels to spice it up a bit. (Which I normally do in all gold with black aesthetics). Also, I added in my Amazon black sassy sunnies that I would most likely wear with an outfit like this!
5. Gen Z + TikTok approved outfit
This look was a little hard to nail on the head. And, finding the perfect outfit inspiration with the bag pictured was out of the question. Unfortunately, I don’t have these items easily accessible in my closet. But, I will do my best to paint the picture for you.
You could either do a simple black bodysuit, with straight-leg jeans, and simple open-toed shoes or white sneakers (love the Airforce One’s). I’m honestly obsessed with this look. I will have to give it a try whenever I have the finances to invest in a nice new pair of jeans and shoes.
As always, if you guys try out any of these looks, I’d love to see it! You can share your favorites by tagging me on Instagram or commenting your favorite look below!
