If you don’t know already, I’ve been spending a lot of time back home with my family and friends in Montana. I moved to Austin, TX a little over a year ago and wasn’t able to see my family the whole year (the longest I’ve gone without seeing them). Once my office went fully remote until 2021, I booked a trip without a return date to enjoy Montana’s pumpkin spice and everything nice.
To ensure I got enough time to spend with everyone I love so dearly, I haven’t left, and most likely won’t until late October. Throughout the month I’ve spent here, there have been different phases I have gone through in terms of shopping. Some months, I wanted to purchase fall clothes, and other months I wanted to purchase activewear. To see what styles I’ve been loving leading up to winter, keep on reading!
What I did every month
Now, each month had so many different activities scheduled. During this time, I was able to get two weeks of vacation off to travel and relax. Other months throughout this trip, involved me sitting working away at my computer. As different occasions sparked different interests, here’s what I’ve been purchasing this trip.
August: Month 1
I made the trip to Montana about ~2 weeks into this month. Once I arrived, I worked for a few more weeks before enjoying two weeks of vacation. I visited Seattle, my college town, my Dad’s small town, and both sets of grandparents. It was a long journey, but I’m so thankful I got to see everyone I wanted to. Due to that, my fashion vibe was very chill, comfy, and cute.
September: Month 2
Month two wrapped up my vacation. I started to realize the lack of fall clothes I decided to bring. I jetted over to our local (small) mall, and went straight to H&M. I purchased all my favorite fall clothes that would get me through the next two months. Not to mention, the beautiful jewelry staples I found along the way.
October: Month 3
Month three ~ going back home. October is my FAVORITE month of the year. Last year, if you kept up with my Blogtober series, you may already know this. But, if you didn’t, you do now! I’m scheduled to arrive home around October 24th. As this month got a little colder, I was spending more time indoors in activewear. I ordered various Amazon activewear to get me through the month before returning back home.
I hope you found your pumpkin spice and everything nice in this post. It’s only fitting to spice up my wardrobe with fall fashion and pumpkiny vibes.
