We live in a busy world ~ a world that’s always reaching for more. If you’re like me, you may get caught filling your calendar a little too full. Staying busy is nice and all, but when your tasks are facilitated by you, you may feel less included to meet expectations week after week.
Throughout college I always worked 2-3 jobs while going to school full time, working on my blog, and YouTube channel (which is all taken down at the moment). If it wasn’t for setting goals consistently, I wouldn’t have made it where I am today.
When I was thinking about moving to Austin, I had to meet my goals before leaving. I had to save a certain amount, complete everything I needed for school, and pull off a perfect move across the country. Yet, I did it, and I loved it (even through the tough times).
Because I have always had a jam-packed schedule, I always set goals, and I get excited about it. Every month that comes around, I get hyped to write out new benchmarks I want to reach.
Realistically, most goals aren’t physically that hard to meet ~ they’re just hard to stick to. It isn’t super hard to meet my goal of recording four podcasts a month, it’s just hard to keep myself accountable for it.
One thing that really ignites my motivation is inspirational backgrounds. If you haven’t already, check out my blog post with my three downloadable motivational phone backgrounds. AND, I could never forget ~ here’s my blog post with my other two printables. I have a weekly and monthly goal-tracking printable for you to use when planning your busy week.
If you’re ready to have honest goal-setting conversations, listen in to today’s episode and break out your whiteboard.
Download my fav free printable and write out your monthly intentions and goals. As the weeks pass by, check off each box after you meet your weekly goals. Help keep yourself, and others, accountable by joining our community on Facebook and subscribe to this podcast for a built-in boss babe group.
