Flowers are starting to bloom, the sun starts peeking out (pretty much every day here in Austin), and there’s always an extra pep in my step after the holidays come to a wrap because that means it is SPRINGTIME. There is no better way to prep for this new season than finding a few new staples pieces. And oh, have I found some cute every day spring fashion basics under $50 for 2020.
If you have been following me for a while, you may know I moved apartments. Since then, I have been investing in furniture and necessities for my apartment rather than splurging on big-ticket accessories. If any of you want to welcome the spring season with new clothing pieces, I have found a few budget-friendly outfits from Forever21, H&M, Nike, and Etsy.
Personally, simple fashion has been my fav recently. I would rather throw on a men’s oversized graphic tee, biker shorts or leggings, slip-on cute slides, and run all my errands for the day.
If you have the same fashion sense, I’m sure you will love this post.
Neutral Basics
I love an all black boot to spice up a neutral outfit, especially these boots in particular. These boots are under $50 AND they look similar to the Louis Vuitton boots that were all the talk a few years ago. Along with that, I like throwing on a cute basic tee, comfy cardigan, and my favorite gold accessories for the perfect outfit for any occasion.
Out and About, Lazy Style
Years ago, I would have never thought I would be about an outfit like this. I would NEVER have been caught dead in public with sweats on. Yet, here I am, now fully supporting this new fashion statement. SHOOK. I absolutely love this cropped white sweater, black baggy sweats, Nike slides (that I am OBSESSED with), and a black sports bra peeking out underneath.
If you are really feeling this outfit, throw on a black crossbody fanny pack.
Classic Errends or Brunch
I had a grey sweater that has cutouts around my shoulders, just like this one, and I could not even tell you how many compliments I’ve got on it. It’s different, yet so simple. Throwing on a decorative/different sweater somehow makes it seem like you put a lot more time and thought into your outfit choice.
Pair this white sweater with light jeans, clear strapped heels, and gold accessories for errands, the office, or grabbing lunch with a friend. So cute and comfortable for everyday wear.
Photo Opp Outfit
This outfit is such a classic. It is perfect for the occasions you are wanting to get a little more dressed up for, and are STELLAR for photo ops. I think about all the Insta models repping this look at a coffee shop posing with their coffee in front of a white brick wall (classsiiiic).
Go out on a coffee date and wear a cute, girlie, and neutral dress with stark white booties, and a black crossbody bag or fanny pack.
If you want to go the extra mile, wear these boss girl sunglasses.
Night Out On The Town
I LOVE to be comfortable when going out, making graphic tee’s my go-to. Pair your graphic tee with a leather jacket, jeans (long or short), booties, and some silver and gold jewelry staples.
I hope y’all are as excited as me for this spring and summer.
Xoxo- Kayla
