Well, it took me a while, but I finally took a deep breath and hit “purchase” on the Shein digital shopping cart. Everyone has brought up the pros and cons to purchasing clothes off Shein, and it wasn’t convincing enough for me to jump on the bandwagon. Then, the hot summer in Austin started to stroll in and my Montana closet just wasn’t going to make the cut.
I knew my summer clothes were rather bare, but I didn’t really notice until my roommate came in to borrow a pair of shorts to go out in ~ I had nothin’. Instead of investing hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on new cropped tees, denim shorts, and sandals, I reconsidered Shein.
Over the years, I have seen more than enough hauls on YouTube. Even though Shein may not have had a strong start, they really made a comeback about a year ago.
Before, many people thought it was the retailer that would give you a see-through white tee that would show up 5 times smaller than you thought it would. But now, man, I am impressed.
My total haul ended up being around $180. Don’t get me wrong, that may seem a little steep. But when you’re able to get 4 pairs of shorts, 7 tops, 2 pairs of shoes, and 1 romper with only one fatality, I’ll take it.
Welcome to my gallery of favorite picks. The only item that didn’t totally turn out was the Ram Hem Ripped Denim Shorts. Honestly, these are SUCH cute shorts, they just turned out to be one size too big. On the bright side, everything else was true to size.
