Okay, ya’ll. Ever since I have been spending more time in Montana, I am getting excited to go back to Texas and start apartment hunting. If you just started following me along this journey, my roommate and I are starting to look for a new apartment come this January. With that being said, cue the fun apartment shopping. Not to mention, the tax-free shopping here in Montana (yippee).
Whether you’re looking for a new place, or already have your own, there’s something in here for you. From a skincare fridge to new coffee mugs and straws, gurlll (or guy), I gotchu.
For the kitchen
I am a huge black colored lover. I love everything in black, silver, or clear for my living area. As I keep my eyes peeled for new home items, I got everything in just that. From storage bins, wine glasses, baking sheets, to coffee straws.
I don’t know what it is, but I have been really into glasses of any sort. Wine glasses, coffee glasses, coffee mugs, and regular water glasses ~ even shot glasses. Who even am I? Check out my top kitchen picks below:

Now for the living area. I would have to say my favorite piece of this assortment is definitely the bar cart. I have been wanting one for a while, but I could never wrap my head around the fact that bar carts are upwards of two hundred dollars. Like WHAT?!
After a while, I found one at Home Goods that was around $150 and I had to get it. Sadly, Home Goods doesn’t sell this item online, but I linked a dupe that is even less expensive than the one I purchased. For all my living room favs, check out my carousel below:
For the bedroom/bathroom
Ugh, now for the room. I recently found these name brand book dupes that I am obsessing over. I haven’t ordered my own set just yet because I am waiting to get back home to Texas. Honestly, I don’t know if my little Honda Accord can handle all the purchases I’ve made since being home in Montana.
I absolutely love the jewelry case I’ve linked numerous times ~ I use it to hold all of my everyday jewelry. Then, I added in some organizational tools (like the towel wall holder and the transparent whiteboard) for those organizational bees (like me) out there.
If y’all are going through the same shopping season as me (like wanting to buy all home decor), then this blog post may have resonated with you the most. But if you’re still stuck on the clothes shopping trend, gearing up for post-quarantine fashion, then subscribe to my email newsletter to be in the loop about future fashionista posts.
Happy shopping (and fall eeeeek) y’all!
Until next time,
XXXX – Kayla
