It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned my apartment — the new one that set the scene for 2021. Honesty, getting a place by myself was the best move I’ve ever made. As I reach 24 years of age, it’s about time I got a place by myself to cherish before I take the next step into (hopefully) a serious relationship. Before that happens, I wanted to have time by myself, in a place by myself. And, this year was the year just for that. So, here’s a full apartment tour of my place with product links for everything that fills it.
Before we get into it, I wanted to let you guys know that some items I found at Home Goods, T.J.Maxx, or Ross. For items I wasn’t able to get links to, I tried to find similar ones online.
The kitchen
To be fair, the bar cart is technically in my living room, but it borders the kitchen. And, this has to be one of my favorite aspects of this area. I have my favorite two wine glasses on each side of my cart, a cute cocktail-making kit, and the bottom filled with my favorite wines and liquor.
As for my bar/table area, I got a few black chairs off Amazon that I’ve been loving. They’re so comfy and they hug you perfectly when you sit down in them. They do come in a set of two, so I ordered two different pairs, use three, and have the fourth in my storage closet for later use (if I ever need it).
The living room
I neglected to actually take full pictures of the living room. But, if you watch any of the vlogs on my YouTube channel, than you most likely get a glimpse of what it looks like on a regular basis.
I have a grey couch (that’s from IKEA) and an assortment of random pillows that I put together. As for the coffee table, I also got it at IKEA along with the TV stand and a few other accessories. The rest of the materials in my living room are my workstation (not pictured) and an at-home workout bin of accessories.
The bedroom
I love my bedroom. It’s perfectly cozy, subtle, and everything that I imagined it to be in a one-bedroom apartment. I have my favorite mirror from IKEA, a standard bed, dresser, and a few accessories that make up the rest of the room. One of those accessories being my favorite organizational whiteboards that get me through the day.
In addition to all that, I have a few phone chargers around the room for guests and a few other items that are useful to me and anyone else that stays in my room as a guest.
The bathroom
I wouldn’t say my bathroom is anything special (other than the walk in closet that’s connected to it). It is a little bigger, which I do love. But, it doesn’t have a double sink.
Similarly, the bathtub is rather large and the shower is just as nice. It’s a great bathroom and apartment for my first place on my own.
Eventually, there will be a video home tour to go along with this blog post. And, as always, if there are any additions that are made to my living area, you most likely will see this over on my Instagram account. (If you haven’t already, I would follow my account.)
I hope you and your loved ones are happy, healthy, warm, and safe!
